This method addresses a vacuum in the market for a sight-reading method specific to the instruction of Piano in a group setting. Sight-reading as a Piano Ensemble helps students deal with their inhibition and develops important ensemble and aural skills. The first section of this method discusses general considerations regarding Class Piano, the assets and liabilities of such a setting and the necessity of such a method. The method itself is divided into sections specifically addressing rhythmic reading, pieces employing five-finger position only, intermediate pieces and advanced pieces employing auxiliary skills.
