Borgen is set in Copenhagen and tells the story of a charismatic politician, Birgitte Nyborg, who unexpectedly becomes the first female prime minister of Denmark. As of 2012, two seasons of ten episodes each have aired in Denmark, and a third and final season is scheduled to be broadcast in the spring of 2013.
