High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The College of Engineering and Science (COES) is the engineering school at Louisiana Tech University. The roots of the current COES date back to the founding of Louisiana Tech in 1894 when the Department of Mechanics was created. Today, the college includes seven engineering programs, four science programs, and two engineering technology programs. The COES engineering programs are currently located in Bogard Hall, Nethken Hall, the Biomedical Engineering Building, and the Institute for Micromanufacturing on the Louisiana Tech campus. New educational facilities in Louisiana Tech`s Enterprise Campus including University Hall, the new proposed COES Building, and Tech Pointe will be used by the COES in the near future.
