Denbeaux is the Director of the Center for Policy and Research at Seton Hall Law School and practicing attorney of counsel in the family law firm of Denbeaux & Denbeaux in Westwood, New Jersey. He gained public exposure beyond the legal and academic communities with his publication on February 8, 2006, "Report on Guantanamo Detainees, A Profile of 517 Detainees through Analysis of Department of Defense Data," the first of a series of reports examining issues pertaining the structure and conditions of Guantanamo Bay Detention Center.
