The Maryland Terrapins football team represents the University of Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS, formerly Division I-A) competition. The Terrapins compete within the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Since 1950, the Terrapins have played their home games at Byrd Stadium in College Park, Maryland.
