He is always on the lookout for novel or unusual aspects and points of view, he is climbing the roofs of skyscrapers, the shaky scaffolding around the churches undergoing renovation in the constant search for another snapshot in his growing chronicle of the Moscow life. It was he who had managed to photograph a circular panorama of Moscow from the scaffolding around the cross on the Ivan the Great bell tower, and it was he who had photographed the red stars on the Kremlin towers.

His photographs allow us to see new unexpected aspects of the national treasures exhibited in the Moscow Kremlin museums. "Moscow is my principal subject. It is a never-ending source of inspiration and creativity for me. I am always taking pictures of Moscow as I would be taking portraits of a person I love"-Rakhmanov says.
