Di Cello demonstrated interest in becoming an actress at a very early age. In 1996, she auditioned for a Telefe production named Chiquititas, and captured the role of "Nadia". In 1999, however, Di Cello changed the role, and now portrayed "Maria Fernandez". She reprised the role of "Maria Fernandez" in two Chiquititas related works, a television mini series Chiquititas, la Historia and her film debut Chiquititas: Rincon de Luz.
