He graduated from the Uspensky Republican Secondary Special Music School, studying with professors A.A. Khashimov and Patricio Cobos. Currently, he studies at Columbus State University with Sergiu Schwartz. He is a holder of scholarships from the President of Uzbekistan and Spivakov's Foundation. He will be attending the Curtis Institute of Music in the fall of 2010.
