Naganawashiro Station is a railway station on the JR East Hachinohe Line located in the city of Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. It is 3.4 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Hachinohe Line at Hachinohe Station. The Hachinohe Rinkai Railway Line lies behind the platform. Naganawashiro Station was opened on June 1, 1934 as a station on the Japanese Government Railways (JGR). With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (the successor to the JGR) on April 1, 1987, it came under the operational control of JR East. Automatic ticket machines were installed in February 2006.
