Nagel Hall was completed in August 2008 on the University of Denver campus in Denver, Colorado. There was a ground breaking on February 6, 2007 on the future site. Chancellor Robert Coombe, Board of Trustee Chair Joy Burns, and donors Ralph and Trish Nagel spoke. The dedication ceremony was on August 21, 2008 at which Chancellor Robert Coombe made a speech. Students moved in September 2008. Nagel Hall was constructed to expand student housing and to try and keep upperclassman living on campus. Currently, about 85% of juniors and 90% of seniors live off campus.
