It was sung by Vili Resnik and performed in Slovenian. On the night, the song performed twelfth (following Hungary's Charlie with "A holnap mar nem lesz szomoru" and preceding Ireland's Dawn Martin and "Is Always Over Now?"). At the close of voting, it had received 17 points, placing eighteenth in a field of twenty five. It was succeeded as Slovene representative at the 1999 contest by Darja Svajger with "For A Thousand Years".
