High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Nakamura Toranosuke (born 8 January 1998) is a Japanese kabuki actor, the first to bear the name. He is the eldest son of Nakamura Senjaku III and grandson of Sakata Tojuro IV. He made his stage debut at the age of 3, in November 2001 at the Kabuki-za in Tokyo, playing the child Mitsumaru in Roben Sugi no Yurai; the story centers around a mother seeking to rescue her infant son, Mitsumaru, who was kidnapped by an eagle. Mitsumaru later grows up to be the great monk Roben. He then went on to make his Osaka stage debut in January 2004, playing a monkey child in Kotobuki Utsubozaru.
