Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Namugenyi "Nam" Kiwanuka (born in Uganda) is a Canadian television personality and journalist. Formerly a VJ for MuchMusic from 1999 to 2003, she was later a host of NBA XL and CFL Crunch on Rogers Sportsnet. Kiwanuka came to Canada with her family in 1983, following the Ugandan Civil War. She was given the Christian name Mary, which she used while attending Ryerson University in Toronto in the mid-1990s, where she was in the journalism program. With a desire to give a voice to and document the lives of the vulnerable, Nam is currently traveling the world with her video camera as a freelance journalist. She's told the stories of FGM survivors, the controversy over the N-word, the politics of the Confederate flag in America, IDPs in Northern Uganda and a grandmother who is raising 19 AIDS orphans.
