Namulonge Airport, also referred to as Namulonge Airstrip, is an airport in Uganda. It is one of the thirty five (35) airports in the country. Namulonge Airport is located in the town of Namulonge, in Wakiso District, in central Uganda. The airport lies approximately 57 kilometres (35 mi), by air, northeast of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest civilian and military airport. This location is approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi), by road, north of the town of Gayaza. The geographic coordinates of this airport are:00 30 51N, 32 37 48E (Latitude:0.5142; Longitude:32.6300). Namulonge Airport is situated 1,180 metres (3,870 ft) above sea level. Namulonge Airport is a small civilian airport that serves the Agronometry Station located at Namulonge. As of January 2010, the airport is not under the administration of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority. The airport has a single unpaved runway, whose exact dimensions are unknown as of January 2010.
