The Taipei Metro Nangang Line is a high-capacity, underground rapid transit line on the Taipei Metro in Taipei, Taiwan. It has 12 stations, is 12.5 km (7.8 mi)-long and runs east-west through downtown starting in Zhongzheng and ending in Nangang, Taipei. It is part of the Blue Line and connects to the Banqiao Line and onwards to the Tucheng Line. The 1.5 km (0.93 mi) Nangang Eastern Extension to Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center is currently under construction, with the segment to Nangang already complete. When the Eastern Extension is completed, traveling time from Nangang Software Park to Taipei Main Station will be reduced from 34 minutes to 18 minutes.
