The New Nanjing South Railway Station is a future high-speed railway station in Nanjing, Jiangsu, People's Republic of China. It will be served by the Jinghu High-Speed Railway, Huning Intercity Rail, Hangning Passenger Railway and the Hu-Han-Rong (Shanghai–Wuhan–Chengdu) Railways. The New Nanjing South Railway Station station is located a few kilometers south of downtown Nanjing. The station's construction site is already connected with the central Nanjing by Line 1 of Nanjing Metro. The New Nanjing South Railway Station should not be confused with the currently existing Nanjing South Railway Station, which is a fairly minor rail station located much closer to the center city.
