It concentrates on Bahamian artists, but there are other artworks, including Winslow Homer landscapes. The collection includes ceramics, paintings, photography, sculpture, and textiles, mainly from the late 20th century onwards. Artists include Amos Ferguson and Antonius Roberts. Its current director is David A. Bailey.
