The north-western terminal is in Kona, near the town of Nibra, Howrah district and the southern terminal is in the coastal town of Bakkhali in South 24 Parganas district. The length of this highway is 133 km (83 mi). It connects the cities of Howrah, Kolkata, Diamond Harbour, Kulpi and Bakkhali with NH 2 and NH 6.
