Mostyn Neil Hamilton (born 9 March 1949) is a British politician, former barrister, teacher, and Conservative MP for the Tatton constituency from 1983 to 1997. In 1997, after becoming involved in a political scandal known as the Cash-for-questions affair, Hamilton was defeated and left politics until 2011 when he was elected to the National Executive Committee of the United Kingdom Independence Party.
