Its western terminus is at NY 96 in Brighton, and its eastern terminus is at NY 350 in Walworth. The portion of NY 441 in Brighton and western Penfield is a divided highway. The highway gradually narrows to a two-lane road as it heads away from the city of Rochester. It connects to Interstate 490 (I-490) in Brighton and intersects NY 250 in Penfield.
