High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Nicole "Nikki" Yanofsky (born February 8, 1994) is a Canadian jazz-pop singer from Montreal, Quebec. She has performed internationally at jazz festivals and major concert venues both solo and alongside such well-known artists as Wyclef Jean, Celine Dion, Marvin Hamlisch and The Count Basie Orchestra. She is very involved in charitable causes and is about to release her first studio album on her own label A440 Entertainment and on Decca Records outside of Canada. Yanofsky also sang Canada's national anthem at the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, as well as performed during the closing ceremonies. Yanofsky recorded the Ella Fitzgerald classic "Airmail Special" for Verve Records and it was released in June 2007 on the album We All Love Ella: Celebrating the First Lady of Song. Produced by Tommy LiPuma, this track made Yanofsky the youngest singer ever to rechord for Verve.
