The NS Mat '64 or Materieel '64 electric multiple units were built by Werkspoor and later Waggonfabrik Talbot between 1964 and 1976. They are operated in the Netherlands by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). The class are actually called Plan T and Plan V. These are now the oldest units used by the NS. The Plan V is a 2-car version and the Plan T, a 4-car electric multiple unit. Both are almost identical from the front. The class is being withdrawn at the moment, but many are still in service over the electrified lines, generally as a Stoptrein, but also Sneltreinen and Intercity.
