High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! NSB Class 86 (Norwegian: NSB type 86) is a diesel-electric multiple unit used by the Norwegian State Railways between 1938 and 1996. A total of 38 motor cars and 31 end cars were built by Str mmen between 1938 and 1954, including six subtypes designated A through F. Twenty cars have been preserved, including the Norwegian Railway Club, the Valdres Line, Arendalsbanens Venner, the Nordic Railway Club and the Numedal Line.
