This is the fifth public university in Rajshahi Division, and first public university in Pabna. This university was established on 2008, and has started the four years undergraduate courses on 2009.PUST currently has a temporary campus at Pabna Teachers Training College (TT College). This is in the heart of the Pabna district. New name is Pabna Science and Technology University.
