It will mainly serve as a large Park and Ride site, with 1,200 spaces. As of 2009[update], Pace M3 is under construction as part of Phase 1 of the planned line.In 2005, the Irish Government announced that, as part of its Transport 21 plan, the line between Clonsilla and Navan would be reopened for passenger trains in two stages, with the first stage opening in 2010. This line had originally closed in 1963.
