He is a former member of the Dublin Gospel Choir and released 3 albums while with the group. In May 2008, Rushe was selected for MTV's "Get Seen Get Heard: Contenders". Since then, he has recorded and released his debut album GreyWold, on Loud Child Records.Rushe spent 6 years working in behind the scenes in music as a soloist, writer and arranger with the Dublin Gospel Choir. As a member of the group, Rushe toured Ireland and worked with many artists including Paddy Casey, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Lisa Hannigan, Nitin Sawhney and the Hot House Flowers. In addition, he sang with James Brown, while Rushe developed his own sound and material.
