High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Padrana is a small village on the banks of Garshanker and Hoshiarpur in Punjab India. It is off the main GT road linking roads to Chandigarh and Pathankot.Padrana is a very historic place with a very old Rajput feel to it, with buildings from the communal Hindu-Muslim past, especially in the Upar Wali Patti area. It also has a co-op dairy. Yet Padrana is a very modern village with the new buildings of NRI's dominating the village, and they have developed the village hugely in the past years. They have a bank, a school, lots of shops, big houses and just off the main road, there is also a big hotel and resort on the main road called "Shere Punjab."
