The single and the album was nearly censored by the Philippine Association of Record Producers (PARE) due to the swear word, '‘Tang Ina' (Filipino slang for 'Son of a Bitch)'. Swear words were unheard of from Philippine music at that time. Their record label asked them to record a "softer" version of the song; they titled it "Walang Hiyang Pare Ko".
