Pieces of a Dream is the 2005 greatest hits album by American pop singer-songwriter Anastacia, covering singles from her first three studio albums, 2000`s Not That Kind, 2001`s Freak of Nature, and 2004`s Anastacia plus four new songs (two duets and two solo songs) and a megamix of her greatest hits. Only two of Anastacia`s singles—"Boom", the official 2002 FIFA World Cup anthem, and "Love Is a Crime", from the soundtrack to the 2002 film Chicago—were omitted from the album, but are found as remixes on the special edition of the album. There were no official plans to release the album in the United States. The regular edition of the album was released on iTunes, but was removed in 2009 for unknown reasons. The album returned to the UK Albums Chart when it was re-released in October 2008. The re-release contained the same tracklisting but had new artwork.
