The band operated independently for 10 years gaining recognition across the United States. In late 2005, Pocket Full of Rocks signed with Warner Bros. gospel music entity, Word/Myrrh Records. With the support of a major label PFOR has experienced increased momentum with the release of their top-selling Debut record Song to the King and their second release Manifesto, and their 3rd release More Than Noise. PFOR performed for over 500,000 people at an event held at The National Mall in Washington, D.C. (2000). Michael W. Smith recorded PFOR's song “Let it Rain” on his platinum selling album Worship. (2001). Bishop Paul S. Morton recorded and titled his album “Let it Rain” nominated for 6 Stellar Awards. The same year, PFOR performed three times on Trinity Broadcasting Network reaching over 40 million viewers. Song to the King sales confirmed PFOR as the Word/Myrrh Records top selling new artist of 2006.
