Podcast Producer requires an Intel processor, 1GB + 512MB per processor core of RAM, and a Quartz Extreme capable video chipset. In order to make use of the Podcast Producer client component (Podcast Capture), the computer wishing to record the podcast must be running Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard) or Mac OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard). The user would then launch the Podcast Capture application, found inside the Utilities folder. The user is then prompted to log into the server, using their username and password, to access the types of podcasts that can be recorded.
