Prelude to History is the second studio album by German pop group Preluders, released on September 27, 2004 (see 2004 in music) on Polydor`s sublabel Cheyenne Records. It was entirely co-produced by Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, and Gena Wernik and included a collection of cover versions of songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The album saw minor success with a peak position of number 44 on the Germany albums chart, and spawned two moderately successful singles with double A-side "Walking on Sunshine/Call Me, Beep Me", and a remake of The Contours` "Do You Love Me".
