Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Psyduck, known as Koduck (Kodakku?) in original Japanese language versions, is one of the fictional species of Pokemon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar Pokemon media franchise—a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards, and other media created by Satoshi Tajiri. As do all Pokemon, Psyduck fight other Pokemon in battles central to the anime, manga, and games of the series. The name Psyduck is used as both a singular and a plural noun when referring to the species. Psyduck made their video game debut in 1996 with the Japanese release of Pokemon Red and Blue. Psyduck was one of several different designs conceived by Game Freak's character development team and finalized by Ken Sugimori for the first generation of Pocket Monsters games Red and Green, which were localized outside of Japan as Pokemon Red and Blue.
