Pulp Summer Slam is the biggest annual music festival in the Philippines. It is founded and produced by Pulp Live Productions, the festival basically composes of local and international rock and metal bands with the occasional line up of hiphop, ska, reggae, pop rock, and other genres. The event is held every year during the summer in Manila, Philippines and every year around 30,000 fans show up for this event. Starting at 1pm and ending at 5am, Pulp Summer Slam is a mix of sorts as many young rock fans show up in ordinary casual attire, some dress in weird costumes and some kids wear native get ups. Recently, Pulp Summer Slam held its 10th Anniversary at the Amoranto Stadium featuring Lamb of God and Testament as headliners and 30 local and foreign bands on April 17, 2010, Saturday. By 6pm of April 10, it was officially announced that Pulp Summer Slam 10 with the theme "The Apocalypse" was sold-out with more than 35,000 fans in the venue.
