High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Raamlaxman (born Vijay Patil) Marathi is an Indian pianist and accordionist and was part of an orchestra called the Amar - Vijay Orchestra. Vijay Patil paired with Raam. He is the "Laxman" of duo composers "Raam-Laxman". "Raam" died right after signing for Agent Vinod (1977) in 1976. Vijay Patil however continued with the name, as he had great success in '90s with Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), changed the spelling to "Raamlaxman". He has composed several hit songs in Hindi and Marathi. Raamlaxman has made almost 75 films in Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri.
