High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rabkavi Banhatti is a town situated at the bank river Krishna and a city municipal council in Bagalkot district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Rabkavi Banhatti is a place about 19 km to the west of Jamkhandi. This town area comprises four places: Rabkavi, Banhatti, Hosur and Rampur. In 1952 the municipalities of Rabkavi and Banhatti were merged into one municipality. The place is very famous for its power loomed and hand loomed sarees, for which there is a very good market. Rabkavi-Banhatti has more than 22000 power looms which is the highest in Karnataka.
