It's the story of a "black woman at the University of Alabama [who] runs for Homecoming Queen, going up against a century of ingrained racial segregation, internal black politics, and a secret association of all-white fraternities called 'The Machine.'" She has also worked on productions for PBS, Discovery, National Geographic and the History Channel. Her most recent film is God's House, a feature documentary about Albanian Muslims who saved Jews during World War II. Rachel Goslins is currently the Executive Director of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, an advisory committee to the White House that works on arts and humanities policy. She is married to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski and has two children.
