High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rachel McFarlane is a British singer who was born in Manchester. She began singing at the age of twelve years old as a gospel singer. In 1994 her career began with the house music group Loveland. She featured on their track "Let The Music Lift You Up" which reached number 16 on the UK charts. The same year she recorded "Turn Up The Power" with N-Trance. In 1998, she released her debut single "Lover" which made it to the top 40. The background of the track was used by Paul Van Dyk for his track "For an Angel"[citation needed].
