She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and the founder of the Capital Children's Choir. She is a producer of classical albums and has also collaborated with a number of pop artists including the Spice Girls, Faris Badwan, Heather Small (M People), and other established British acts. -In 1996 Santesso was impressed by an 11 year old girl singing an Oasis tune at the Cavendish School in Camden, London. She encouraged the girl, who had a reputation as an "argumentative problem child", and gave her singing lessons during school lunchtimes. Today, she - Lily Allen - is an internationally famous pop star. She has described Santesso as her mentor.
