Bitter and angry, Roy founded the Legion of Super-Villains and often fought against the Legion of Super Heroes. He had a relationship with Spider-Girl, but this ended. He quit the Legion of Super-Villains. He body became badly ravaged by his radiation. He lost his teeth and grew pus-filled tumors. So, Roy started to wear a red containment suit.
