At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2902 people living in 522 individual households. Jajarkot Districta part of Bheri Zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Jajarkot as its district headquarters, covers an area of 2,230 km and has a population (2001) of 134,868.
