High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rahvin (RAA-vin) (Originally known as Ared Mosinel) is one of the primary antagonists of The Wheel of Time fantasy series by Robert Jordan. He is one of the Forsaken. Born Ared Mosinel, Rahvin was tall and dark, and said to be as handsome as Lanfear was beautiful. Incredibly proud, Rahvin loved power, and was envious of anyone who held more than him. Much preferring diplomacy over outright attack, Rahvin usually chose to use subtle compulsion and manipulation. He was very strong in the One Power, among the strongest in the Age of Legends. He has always had a weakness for beautiful women which was stated in the fourth book, The Shadow Rising, by Moghedien during her battle with Nynaeve Al'Meara.
