Rainstorm was founded in 2002 by Steven G. Kaplan and Gregg L. Daniel after their first successful production of the horror/comedy Terror Tract which received the top prize for Best Film in the Feature Category at Shriekfest 2002 and the Audience Award at the 2001 Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film.
