High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Raj Kamal was a well known Indian composer. He composed classics such as the unforgettable Chashm-e-Buddoor, Chand Jaise Mukhde pe, sung by K. J. Yesudas, Taqdeer se koi sung by Anandkumar C, and several other well known songs. Composer RajKamal was born to Tulsidas and his wife in a village called Matoda in Rajasthan. He was named Dalpat after birth. He was the eldest of six children. RajKamal came to Bombay with his whole family; his father having been persuaded by his brother. After marriage, RajKamal and his wife Sagar had 5 sons ChandraKamal, SuryaKamal, VinayKamal, Dheeraj, Shibu and one daughter, Guddu. RajKamal's three elder sons are all composers and musicians in their own right. Soon after, RajKamal changed his name from Dalpat to RajKamal for Bollywood. RajKamal is the nephew of tabla maestro, Pt. Bansilal and singer, Anandkumar C.. He is the cousin of popular Gujrati-film actor Ranjeet Raj. RajKamal died in 2005 from Alzheimer's Disease which had severely affected his memory.
