Rajko Grlic (born 2 September 1947 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian film director and producer of partial Jewish origin. He is an "Eminent Professor in Film" at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and artistic director of the Motovun Film Festival held annually in Croatia. Rajko Grlic was born 2 September 1947 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia. He graduated from the Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) at the same time as Emir Kusturica, also a well known former-Yugoslavian film director. His father was Danko Grlic, famous Yugoslav philosopher.
