Ralph Forbes (30 September 1896 – 31 March 1951) was an English actor in the American cinema. He was the son of actress Mary Forbes and brother of actress Brenda Forbes. Forbes was born Ralph Taylor in London, England. He married three times, first to actress Ruth Chatterton from 1924 to 1932, then married actress Heather Angel in 1934, and finally married actress Dora Sayers in 1946. Reputedly, Forbes was one of J.C. Leyendecker's models for the Arrow Collar Man ads for Cluett, Peabody and Co.'s brand of shirts and detachable shirt collars. He died in New York City, aged 54.
