High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Ramboozle is a popular British mid-seventeenth century alcoholic beverage, similar to rum. The drink, and its variation, rumfustian, were made by mixing eggs, ale, wine, sugar, and various spices, and then distilling. The names, both British slang, have been linked with the gypsy word rum, meaning "strong" or "potent" (as the drink had a high alcohol content). An alcoholic beverage is a drink containing ethanol (commonly called alcohol). Alcoholic beverages are divided into three general classes: beers, wines, and spirits. They are legally consumed in most countries, and over 100 countries have laws regulating their production, sale, and consumption.
