Although the album was recorded in January 2001, Lee Dorrian's vocals were recorded and mixed in the summer. It was released in 2002, and contains 3 tracks. The album is named after Rampton Secure Hospital. It was released in the US by Southern Lord Records and in Europe by Rise Above Records. Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine are an English drone doom supergroup, formed in 2001 and featuring musicians from other metal bands. They take their name from the second song from the Earth album Earth 2. The music is slow and heavy, similar to the music of Khanate and Burning Witch.
