Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Randy Morrison is a pastor originally from Trinidad and Tobago whose relaxed approach and practical advice is favoured among more secular audiences. Having been raised by a single mother, he migrated to the U.S. city of Minneapolis in 1971 and converted shortly thereafter, and established the Speak the Word Church International in 1977. His television program "A Common Sense Approach" is seen in many different countries around the world. The word pastor usually refers to an ordained leader of a Christian congregation. In some countries the term is used in relation to Protestant churches. It can also be used in reference to priests and bishops within the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox churches. The word itself is derived from the Latin word pastor which means "shepherd". The term "pastor" is also related to the role of elder within the New Testament, but is not synonymous with the biblical understanding of minister.
