She watched her daughter Indu (Amrita singh) get married to Ajay malhotra (Jeetendra) and had 2 daughters; but unfortunately their relationship didn't work out because of a big misunderstanding between the two; it was all suchitra's fault. Ajay leaves the house with Pooja (Ayesha jhulka) and leaving Indu not known she was pregnant. After many years, Suchitra and Indu are running their business successfully but refuse to increase the employees wages which leads to a strike and it is decided to keep a new chairman which is none other than Ajay.
